Booking

Check-in – 12:00 /  Check out 11:00 Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to room type. Please enter the dates of your stay and check what conditions apply to your preferred room.

Up to two children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing beds. Up to two older children or adults are charged USD 30 per person per night when using existing beds.

The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 1.  Any type of extra bed or crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Additional fees are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

Pets are not allowed. Limited free WiFi is available in public areas.

Meal

Continental Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Cancellation

Full payment is required at the time of booking. In the event of cancellations or no shows, the full price of the reservations will be charged.

Taxes

There is a Hotel Accommodation Tax in the amount of 10% on hotel room rental. All other related purchases are subject to 12.5% Value Added Tax.

Restaurant on the premises

  • A full-service restaurant and bar are available for hotel guests and the general public from 8.00 a.m. until 10.00 p.m. The restaurant offers a choice of local cuisine as well as international dishes. Here the freshest fish, shrimp, lobster, and shellfish are served as well as steaks, chicken, pork, beef, and lamb.

    Vegetarian and other special dietary requirements are available on consulting with our management. Our cuisine is rated highly as evidenced by the reviews from our international as well as our local diners.

    A complimentary breakfast is based on the American plan and very satisfying. In addition, our breakfast can be a local traditional option, and guests are asked to contact the manager if interested in sampling it.

    All kinds of alcoholic beverages and exotic cocktails are available. Our dining is alfresco, overlooking the bay on one side and the mountains on the other. Dress is casual in keeping with the relaxed atmosphere but footwear and tops are required.

Carolyn’s View was opened for business in 2006 by Edzra and Carolyn after spending 36 years abroad and decided to return home and build a guest house for our family and friends to come and visit. We are located just 30 minutes from the Piarco International Airport, 35 minutes from Maracas Beach, within 5 minutes of the Queen’s Park Savannah and Downtown Port of Spain. There is easy access to transportation, Shopping Malls, Grocery stores, Restaurants, Bakeries, and lots of Nightlife. Carolyn’s view is a self-contained apartment with two double beds that sleeps up to 4 people. The apartments are fully furnished including a living room and a fully equipped kitchen plus patios in the front and back of the apartment. It is located in the quiet area of Maraval, perfect for short and long term visitors. Our job is to make sure our guests are comfortable. Carolyn’s View is your “Home away from Home”.
